Doug Howell - Managing Director

Doug has been with the company since  1996 having come to Newport from a large Multinational broker in Dublin where he gained his experience in the industry . He is a Qualifed CIP with over 20 years experience in Insurance. Doug is Married to Lousie and they have 3 children Doug is an active Member of Castletroy Golf LCub and has recently completed his first Triathlon . 

Bill Cullen - Director and Chairman

Bill started the Company in Newport in 1974 having returned to his native Newport after working in various branches on the Insurance industry industry in Dublin for 10 years. Outside of work his interests are photography, golf and walking.

Heather Cullen - Director, Co Secretary and Office Admin

Heather has been involved in the business since its formation and looks after all office administration. Her hobbies are golf, reading and walking.

Joan Kennedy 

Joan started working for Cullens in 1983 , she diversified to the marine insurance sector in 2000 , she returned to the general side of insurance in 2010 and currently deals will motor renewals. She lives locally with her husband and two children. her hobbies are walking and cooking.

Siobhan Kennedy

Siobhan is employed with Cullens since 1987  and currently deals with house insurance , new quotes , renewals , claims etc, and farm insurance. She lives in Rear Cross with her husband and two children.Along with her husband she is very active in the farming community.

Olive Gleeson

Olive started working in the insurance industry in 1977, she joined Cullens staff in 1999. Currently Olive deals with the accounts and credit control. She is married to Mike and has two children, her hobbies are gardening, walking and socialising!

Ursula Earls

Ursula joined Cullens in 2002 after travelling the world. She studied business and marketing for two years, she currently works in personal lines section. She lives locally and her hobbies are pilates and hill walking, and you should taste her spuds!!

Maureen Berkery

Maureen re-entered the workforce in 1999 with Cullens, when her youngest child started school, she also works in the personal lines section. She has lived in Newport all her life with her husband and four daughters. She loves set dancing and walking and is involved in the local athletics club. 

Tess Duffy

Tess began working with Cullens in 2003 in the marine sector and transferred to the general insurance side in 2006, she also works on personal lines and is a qualified CIP. She is a 3rd dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and lives locally with her partner and four children. 

Irene Hartnett

Is the newest member to the Cullens team. Prior to this she worked with FBD and a commercial underwriter in London, currently works in personal and commercial lines. A native of croom, she enjoys travelling, walking and socialising.

Marta Sofinska

Martha started in Cullens in 2007, originaly working in accounts, but started our Polish department the following year. She is a qualified CIP. She is currently training to test for her black belt in Tae Kwon Do and lives locally with her partner. 

Lukasz Lozyca

Lukasz joined Martha in the Polish Department six months ago to cover maternity leave. he deals with car insurance for our polish clients . Lukasz lives in Limerick with his partner. He likes football and movies.

Anna  Czyzynska

Anna was employed by Cullens in 2008 to help Martha with the Polish department. She lives in Castleconnell with her husband and is currently on maternity leave with her first child.
